Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program
Greenwich House Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program has effectively treated opioid-dependent individuals since 1969. Our services are designed to meet the needs of the individual by customizing care to the individual's specific circumstance.
We provide services that:
1. Support the recovery and stabilization of persons served.
2. Enhance the quality of life of the individual.
3. Diminish the symptoms of opioid dependence and withdrawal.
4. Assist the individual in connecting with the community.
Services include:
• Individualized counseling
• Relapse prevention and support groups
• Addiction education
• HIV counseling and testing
• Medical treatment
• Psychiatric services
• Clinical evaluations, assessments, and referrals
• Job training and placement assistance
• Educational assistance
• Follow-up and aftercare planning

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 6:15 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.
Medication for Working Patients: 6:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Medication for Non-Working Patients: 8:00 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
Tuesday 6:15 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.
Medication for Working Patients: 6:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Medication for Non-Working Patients: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
noon - 1:15 p.m.
Saturday: 8:15 a.m. - noon
Medication for All Patients: 8:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
Fees
Fees for services are calculated on a sliding scale. Medicaid insurance is also accepted.
License and Accreditation
Greenwich House Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program is accredited by CARF, the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, is licensed by the New York Office of Substance Abuse Services, and is certified by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Center for Substance Abuse Treatment.
